Noise Assembly is the studio practice of Tyler James Goin, gratefully operating on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations - also known as Vancouver, BC, Canada.

He creates works that explore the inherent characteristics of clay and metal primarily, bridging a connection through gestural forms and finishes inspired by the materials own nature. His artistic journey includes a strong technical foundation as a millwright/machinist and a decade-long apprenticeship with a sculptor, resulting in the creation of original pieces that have been exhibited in galleries and museums internationally.

Why “Noise Assembly”?
Noise has the ability to either obscure, or magnify as a function. This appears embedded in the practice of contemplation through pursuing what it means to find balance in expression, and heavily considers the economies of the human spirit as a guiding force for discovery.
